The grounds are quaint and comfortable which makes for relaxed, natural images — exactly what couples who value personality over pomp are after. The people running Canterbury actually care about your day. They’re hands-on without being intrusive and seem to genuinely want you to enjoy the space rather than just check boxes. We were lucky enough to photograph someone in that family out there for their wedding day and their laid-back but attentive energy shows in how smoothly the day flows, which makes our job as photographers easier and keeps couples feeling calm. Photography here is a treat because the setting isn’t cookie-cutter. You get a mix of outdoor character and intimate indoor spaces, which gives variety without feeling chaotic.
