We had the absolute best experience with Kelsey and JK Dance Center for our wedding dance lessons. Kelsey was patient, encouraging, and made learning our first dance so fun and stress-free. Each lesson was well-paced and tailored to our skill level, which made a huge difference. By the time our wedding day arrived, we felt confident and excited to dance together rather than nervous. Kelsey truly cared about making the dance feel natural and us, not overly choreographed. We received so many compliments, and most importantly, we loved every minute of it. We couldn’t recommend JK Dance more highly to any couple preparing for their wedding.
As someone who grew up taking dance and loved it, I was really excited to sign my 3-year-old up for classes at JK Dance. Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. It’s very clear that this studio doesn’t know how to work with little ones or have the patience they need at that age. Parents are not allowed in the classroom, which makes it so much harder for toddlers who are just starting out and need comfort and reassurance. What upset me most was how unwelcoming the environment felt. If you’re not already part of their circle or a certain “status,” you and your child are treated like you don’t belong. That’s the opposite of what dance should be about dance should build confidence, not tear it down. I say this as a former dancer and now a mom: this studio is not the place for families with young children. Look for a studio that values patience, kindness, and inclusion because your child deserves that kind of start.
We loved our wedding dance! ❤️ totally recommend . If you aren't getting married and still want to learn how to dance book a private class totally worth it.
We absolutely love it here. The instructors are wonderful with my 2 1/2 year old. My daughter was hesitant at first but the instructors held her hand and helped show her everything is okay and now she has a blast. Runs inside yelling bye mommy! Happy to have chosen here for our baby to start her journey.
