Nice staff, rooms aren't bad. Not a big selection on breakfast, but did have a few things to choose from. There's not much to do around town and not many restaurants, but was nice to have a room closer to where we needed to be.
I do not always stay here but when I do l, it is in room 308.
Not within walking distance of anything. Water quality absolutely sucks. Not the hotel's fault but GROESBECK city. Obviously I'm from out of state. First time turning on the shower and it almost made me, without exaggeration, throw up into the tube. It can be tasted EVERYWHERE in GROESBECK. In the fountain drinks of the fast food restaurants, in the soda fountains in the convenience stores, just everywhere. Hotel was clean, my stay was about 3 weeks. Staff are generally nice. One of my major issues is that the room cleaning people came in my room to clean while I had a do not disturb placard on the know. While cleaning my room, they threw away the styrofoam protective case for my printer. It was neatly tucked under the sink. I will admit it was a few feet away from a trash can. However, this is also the reason why I had a do not disturb sign on my door. Pitchers give you an idea, it is missing half of the impact shielding, thus not allowing me to stack the printer on top when traveling anymore. I've had it this way for 3 to 4 years without issue... until I came here. Went to the front desk to alert them of the issue. Knowing good and well, they would not be able to recover styrofoam to ask them for at least some free towels to keep. After some back and forth I finally got said towels, but still doesn't really help in the dynamic.
