As a lifelong artist I greatly enjoyed Allison's style and professional attitude. Her easy-going, non-judgmental approach to conveying techniques and strategies to apply paint on canvas were so down to earth. My background didn't include much experience with oils so I chose the "Painting From Life" class as an opportunity to expand my palette. I was pleasantly surprised when, with Allison's patient guidance it all came together. Definitely recommend Foundation Art Academy for anyone from beginner to seasoned veteran. All are welcome no matter your age or skill level!
Foundation Art Academy has been the single most important decision made for my daughter's art education thus far! Alison has been a wonderful mentor! She not only instructs her students, but my daughter loves the fact that she actually "shows" her how to complete and embrace each task...while many other instructors only reference "how-to". When entering Foundation Art Academy studio, you can visibly tell Alison has put her heart and soul into designing her teaching space. The studio encompasses both natural light, as well as offers a relaxed, comfortable setting. She invests in using a wide variety of quality products which provides excitement for the artists she instructs. Foundation Art Academy offers Erie a "one of a kind" experience that allows artists on all levels to thrive, learn and succeed. Kudos to her! I can't wait to see what art classes she offers next!
