If your child is interested in taking dance, there are plenty of studios in the area to choose from - but THIS ONE IS A GEM!!! We just wrapped up 10 years of dance at Cabarrus Dance Academy and I couldn't be more proud. The love shown by the teachers/assistants, office staff, and even dance shop assistants is felt as soon as you step through the door. A hello and a hug are the standard greetings. This dance studio has been a second home for our daughter. From the moment we walked into the studio ten years ago, we were welcomed into a warm, nurturing environment and treated like family. When my daughter was small, I remember sitting in the lobby watching the monitors and trying to sneak a peek into the classes. Years later, I have no problem dropping her off at the front door and running errands because I know she's safe among her dance family. Not only are the dance instructors very professional and highly skilled, but they are also passionate about the children's personal growth. They go above and beyond to connect with and encourage each child. Throughout the years our daughter has grown her self-confidence, made numerous friends, and her love for dance has skyrocketed. Cabarrus Dance Academy offers multiple dance disciplines, and we have just about tried them all! After ten years, we have encountered several amazing teachers and performed in spring flings, the Southern Christmas Show, the Christmas ballet, and the annual recital that concludes the dance season. Each performance’s outcome is always the same – a perfectly polished performance! This year’s recital is a special milestone, because my daughter received her 10-year award, which was certainly a personal highlight for our family. The studio's commitment to excellence is evident in every class, recital, and interaction. CDA is a place where hard work is celebrated, friendships are formed, and every dancer is encouraged to reach their full potential. Every year the dance studio hosts a skate party for all the dance students and family. This celebration with the dance family is the cherry on top, although we always leave a little sad because it means the dance season has officially ended. Thank you CDA for 10 amazing years and we can't wait to embark on year 11 and beyond!!!
Our daughter just finished her first year at CDA in the Wiggle and Whirl class with Miss Jennifer. We had a great experience, Miss Jennifer was very welcoming and kind. We are looking forward to next year!
We’ve been part of the Cabarrus Dance Academy family for four years now, and we can’t say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is so welcoming, supportive, and full of joy. It’s a space where our girls have truly grown and flourished. Not only have they grown in their technique and confidence as dancers, but they’ve also developed discipline, friendships, and a deep love for the art of dance. The instructors are not only talented but incredibly nurturing, and it shows in the way they pour into each child. We’re so grateful to be part of a studio that values growth, encouragement, and creativity. CDA has become a beautiful part of our lives and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. I know my girls will always look back on these days with fondness and many sweet memories. Thank you, CDA!
I have taken several adult tap classes and most recently finished adult jazz with Miss Laurie and each class is so much fun! I grew up taking dance classes and this is a great way to revisit those skills and have an excellent work out. The instructors and other dancers are amazing and always so kind. One thing in particular I enjoy is they welcome all skill levels and will teach a combination with different options based on your comfortability.
