Path entrance was clearly marked and the nature signs were a nice touch. The beaver pond was beautiful and the creeksde path was great. A nice, well maintained walk in the woods.
Very nice forest. Trail entrance by Jones Road parking lot is very overgrown. At first I thought this must be a mistake. The weeds are over 3 ft tall, someone needs to whack them. Lots of flies and bugs inside. Tiny frogs running across the trail beneath my feet. This is a beautiful crazy wild place.
Decently marked. However did not see the intersection for the longer trail. Ended up taking short loop. I suspect it was around the Skunk story board. Also not expecting to find trailhead in the middle of an isolated dirt road. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and long pants. Nice walk thru the woods. Recommend this trail.
This place is magical! A truly pristine forest with so so so many ferns and the most Lucious forest smells ever! If you need a tranquil walk in the woods this is the place.
