My son absolutely loved his MadScience birthday party. Susan was wonderful in answering all of my questions and Ellenia was incredible the day of keeping all of the kids engaged and excited about science!! My son is already asking for it again next year for his birthday!
The Mad Scientist was great at keeping the kids engaged, excited, and space! We had the space party and my son and his friends were in absolute awe.
The programs are so engaging and interactive; the kids have so much fun and learn in the process!
We had a blast! Dave confirmed all details, Alan arrived on time, set up, had fun, and left no trace. The giggles made it all worth it. Would recommend them and will use them again!
Our kid’s birthday party was severely disrupted and left in an embarrassing position due to Mad Scientist’s (David Whiteman was our Point of Contact) complete lack of professionalism and reliability. Despite having paid the booking amount and have spoken to David regarding the event just 4 days before the party, there was a complete no-show with no communication whatsoever. As the host, we communicated to all our guests regarding the performance time and all the kids were very excited for that. We were told by David that someone from his team would arrive at 11.45 AM so that performance could start at 12.15 PM. All our guests had arrived by Noon and were expecting the performance, only to be met with no show and disappointment. We made multiple attempts to call Mad Scientist (email, call on emergency line, left voice note), but didn’t receive any response. This negligence not only made our scheduled plans impossible but also created an incredibly awkward and disappointing experience for our guests. The impact of this no-show was significant: • Guests were confused, and the atmosphere was negatively affected. • The gap in the program created by their absence was difficult to manage with 30+ kids getting impatient • The event appeared disorganized due to this performer's unreliability. No explanation or apology was offered, either at the time or afterward, showing a profound disrespect for our event and my guests. I WILL NEVER recommend Mad Scientist to anyone looking for reliable and professional entertainment. Their failure to fulfill a basic commitment is unacceptable, and the reputational damage to my party was deeply frustrating. Anyone considering hiring them should be aware of this risk.
