🖤 Wayne State College Academic Center — A True Lifeline for Students The Academic Center at Wayne State College has been a sanctuary for me throughout my college journey. Whenever I felt overwhelmed or stuck, the center was there — a place filled with support, patience, and real understanding. I want to especially praise Janet and Abbie, who go above and beyond every single day. Janet’s calm guidance and endless encouragement helped me push through some of my toughest challenges. She listens deeply and offers advice that feels personalized and genuine — like she truly wants to see you succeed, not just pass. Abbie’s energy and kindness make the Academic Center feel like a second home. She’s always ready with a smile and practical help, whether it’s tutoring, resources, or just a pep talk when I need it most. Their teamwork creates an environment where students don’t just survive — they thrive. If you’re at Wayne State and need a place to grow academically and personally, this is it. Thanks to Janet, Abbie, and the whole Academic Center team, I’ve grown more confident and capable than I ever imagined. Wayne State is incredibly lucky to have such dedicated people supporting its students every day. 🖤
Abundance of quality books
Purchased a textbook that was supposed to come with a code that I needed to access a site to complete my assignments, but the code was never included. I called the bookstore and the person told me to call the publisher. After talking to the publisher, they told me that I needed to talk to the bookstore since that was the point of purchase. I called the bookstore back and they told me the only thing they could do was refund me. So I'm left without access to my textbook or the site I need to complete my homework.
Good selection, friendly staff. It would be nice if the college provided easy to find visitor parking for those who would like to stop into the bookstore and walk around the beautiful campus during their stay in Wayne. If it exists, we didn't find it. We parked in the 15-minute space. It was a very quick stop, and we would have enjoyed spending more time.
Customer service was excellent!
