This gem offers SO much to our valley...I have always enjoyed taking classes here...lots to choose from!
The "hybrid" Psychology 101 is a waste of money. It only meets maybe once every other week with little online resources. There is no homework to learn more knowledge from other than weekly quizzes and bi-weekly exams.
Both of my kids went here, one is still going and the other transferred to Montana Tech for engineering. They both told me it is a good school and the engineering stuff prepared one well for MT. I'm so glad that they make it affordable for local residents!
Great college, tons of opportunities. Word on the block is the engineering department is good.
Never experienced worse college/university/continuing education admissions. Took a class here years ago and had to call Disability Services to register for classes. The class itself was enjoyable, especially because of the varied student population. It was interactive and included essay exams. FVCC sponsors a weekly speaker series on world topics, featuring speakers from across the nation. Apologies for the cuss word “world” if that offends anyone’s religion. These series focus more on the Golden Rule and honesty than on pressured conformity.
