What an amazing tour. Greg showed us around with the same passion and knowledge that I imagine the original Mr. Soule would have had. Not just a steam museum, but a detailed snapshot of the entire business from the wash-up room which allowed his employees wash and change to clean clothes after working with oil and iron all day to Mr Soule’s desk in the business office just a down the hall. If you have a soft spot for history this is a must, as is the Three Foot Hotel, and Weidmann’s restaurant both just a couple blocks away in this interesting little town.
Great local Museum! Unknown gem! Make sure to go the first weekend of November!
Wonderful old steam engine factory with many working engines on display. Very enjoyable.
