What a cool place to visit! This place is a local treasure!
Had a great experience! The gentleman who gave us a tour was great! We appreciate all the knowledge he was able to give.
The museum is really good. However, the person who narrates is quite prejudiced. Not very much attention to native American and African American history. For some reason they have a lot of holocaust history, which is not at all related to DeSoto county. However it was a great work on holocaust history, which I liked. Only the connection to the locality seemed off. They referred to Native Americans as immigrants, which really surprised me. It needs more facts and maybe a different narrator.
Don't let it's small size fool ya!! Wonderful little museum. Amazing Host and Hostess that gave us an informative tour..Plan to stay an hour. Would recommend it's also free
