Tried getting into the shelter a few years ago. Had a job set up in the area and childcare for my children . They made me come in for an interview and still didn’t give me ANY help. Racist to me because my friend had help getting into this shelter right after her interview, they didn’t even call me back. Don’t reccomend if ur a person of color in need.
A wonderful place. "Homey" atmosphere. Great, friendly and professional staff. Their comprehensive program helps people get on their feet while feeling valued and respected.
