Lots of good history here. Got a chance to run a 5k to benefit the memory of Danny Carothers and great friend. Nice old buildings and park setting.
Fountain Square in Bowling Green is a charming and relaxing spot right in the heart of downtown. The historic fountain and surrounding area give it a welcoming, small-town feel, and it’s a great place to sit, walk around, or just enjoy the atmosphere. With local shops, restaurants, and beautiful architecture nearby, it’s an easy place to spend some time whether you’re visiting or just passing through. The area is well-kept and has a nice balance of history and everyday activity. Overall, Fountain Square is a simple but enjoyable stop that captures the character of Bowling Green perfectly.
Unfortunately, the fountain at this Fountain Park doesn't eve flow with any water. The park is nicely landscaped but the centerpiece fountain is a disappointment.
