Great school terrible cosmo program. The staff is nice and there's plenty of careers to choose from. However, if you're looking into cosmetology find somewhere else immediately. The cosmo program is a joke and a waste of money. You pay over $500 to have a rude instructor who rather get their hair done then teach. I got my hair done by my girlfriend who was a student and I had to wait over an hour to pay because the teacher was no where to be found. (later discovered she was wandering the building and talking to other teachers) If the girls have questions 95% of the time they must depend on others for help because the teacher will either be wandering the building, absent, or she'll simply refuse to help and tell you to figure it out yourself. Mrs. Charity Crenshaw is a horrible instructor who simply chooses not to care. She encourages bullying and talks to students about each other in secret. The classroom is the most toxic school environment I've ever seen. The other departments are great, but unless you want a teacher who cares more about getting her hair done & gossiping than teaching, go elsewhere. My girlfriend went for two years and never learned a single mens cut. She had to redo her entire education when she entered a salon because she was taught so little. They're in urgent need for an instructor who is actually qualified and cares about her job.
