One of my favorite place to unwind.
Gorgeous and amazing! Love it. Great place to walk & have a picnic. They also have a good cafe to have lunch inside out outside or coffee or dessert and also have a wonderful gift shop. Visited April 9th, 2026. Love it there. I've been going there since I was a young girl, Im 66 now. I always had a dream I would get married in the sunken gardens. I still love the gardens to this day and visit whenever I come back home to see my Mother as my father passed away. This year, we made a trip, my brother came with his two adult daughters. And I came with my adult son and daughter. So fun, we hiked and had a picnic. It is absolutely a beautiful place. A special place in my heart. I love to go when I come visit my Mother. Although I never got married there, alot of people do, I still love to go there. Today, I'm still married after 41 years. So sometimes you don't always get to fulfill all your dreams, but I still dream & have fulfilled quite a few in life. So Keep planning & dreaming & visit this beautiful place. Respect it when you go, pick up any trash and be kind to nature.
Beautiful place, limited café options and the area is striking and probably most beautiful late april early may. Though winter with thick snow has a whole different vibe. beautiful statues and a lot of walking can be had. 4.5 would be more accurate of a rating.
