Been coming here since I was a kid. Love the Carolina chicken salad, crepes, and the Junction skillet. Always enjoy my time with the wait staff.

Haven't been there for years, even though it's less than a mile from our house. We got there at 4 pm. We were practically the ONLY ONES THERE. Still, had to wait about 5 mins for service. Hubby got the buffet, the advert suggested MUCH BETTER. Which is why we came. But he said it was good. I got a Chef Salad, and waited about 15 minutes for it. When it arrived it was "warm" in places, cold, in others? It was also smaller than most "Chef Salads". Which was fine, since I couldn't eat it all, but still, if you're going to charge $15 for a Chef Salad, it should be a, COLD, CRISP, CHEF SALAD. The only 5 Star thing was our server. She was surprised that no one served us sooner, and took off $$$ due to my wait for a simple salad. Also, her personality was STELLAR. She was more than accommodating about my indecision over dressing. (The Greek was new to me, but so good.) She even said, if I don't like it, she'll bring me something else. Yes, yes, I know, they all say that: However, she was GENUINE in every interaction we had with her. You can't pay enough for that. The atmosphere is ok. Paying: The man who took our payment was ok. It wasn't until AFTER we handed him our CC that I noticed a sign (partially hidden) that said they add a 4% charge to all CC transactions. When asked, he replied: That's not up to me. Then went on about "HIS" "servers cashing in" and he won't have cash for them? We DO NOT pay CC fees to ANY vendor. It's a "cost of doing business". Overall, I now remember why we don't frequent this place. When your SERVER is the only 3+ thing about your business, you have a problem. We will NOT be returning.

I gotta be honest I really didn't want to write this review , but as of today I will never do business with this place again. I am a director of a family company over 25 years and what matters to me is HOW the business treats the customers, not just the good times but when there are issues How does the company here and understand the customers needs. I already have told 3 people and they also will never step foot in there. I have spent about 700.00 over the 8 years Ive been living in dekalb at the junction. The food is ok, sometimes better than others. I will tell you I believe they are doing this new buffett thing , because they are having a hard time, and will go out of business. last tues we went and tried the tacco buffett i actually liked it, my roomate ordered a coke 3.25 he was shocked , the food was salty but pretty decent. So we had plans to go to the BBQ and the fish on fri buffet. I got there today at 6:30 for the chicken buffet I saw a post of all the items and kid you not there was fries, and 2 small chicken wings and a small pan of braised chicken. I called the waitress over said it would be about 10 min , so I order a tea, this lady brings me a small coffee cup with luke warm water and one tea bag to do myself, and charged me 3.00 3.00 for a tea bag I have never heard of such robbery , she could even get the lemon with the tea correct. after 20 min, a guy comes out bring out more fries , they already had a whole pan on the buffet , now they have 2 pans of fries , no mashed potatoes, no green beans nothing and I dont eat salad , I did try the soup and it was COLD. I now waited 30 min and still no chicken like i asked instead some bake potatoes came out (3) at this point the lady didnt even ask if I wanted a refill probably would of charged a extra 3.00 for the bag of tea, I had enough, I went to the counter figuring i would tell the manager or owner who ever the goofy guy with the glasses was that there was a bad selection and he would do a adjustment and try the fri fish fry, he asked me how was your dining experience?? I said horrible and before I proceeded to explain you know what he said "good" , I said really, I went to explain the diferent reasons for my complaints, figuring he would here this even expressing the tea 3.00, he said NOTHING... I said are you charging me full price meal 23.00 ? he said yes. I was so angry , its not about the money its about the principle. Any wise business owner would recognize I had valid concerns. and he asked me would you like to tip, I thought to my self what a jerk... needless to say I will never ever come back to this place EVER. I predict soon this place will be out of business you do not do your paying customers like that.. It is wrong and word of mouth travels quickly stay away from the junction the food is not even that good..
