We took Sue's Intro to Welding class last weekend. It was fantastic! Sue is a perfect teacher for this class. We spent time on safety before really getting our hands on all the tools. She gives you all the information you need and supports you as you build confidence in yourself. I can't recommend this enough. If you have ever had an interest in welding, but weren't sure which type, what equipment you might need or if welding is an activity you might enjoy, this is the class for you!
Sue's intro to welding class is awesome! Sue is very serious about safety, and a wonderful teacher; giving plenty of help and guidance as needed but giving you space to mess up and learn. The class is a solid introduction to mig and oxy welding techniques. The thorough theoretical grounding and practical components leave you with the skills and confidence to pursue welding further.
Great place to learn the basics of welding
My daughter and I took Sue's Intro To Welding course, and I couldn't recommend it any higher. Not only did my daughter learn a valuable lesson - with safety at the center of all things - but she had a great time, and is now considering what a career in welding might look like! After 2 days, look at the bead on that weld. Thank you, Sue! P.S. Sue's shop is CLIMATE CONTROLLED!
The Introduction to Welding class is a great way to spend a weekend. With humor, warmth, and a strong emphasis on safety, this class is well worth your time. I am not someone who has welded before, so this was the perfect way to try something new. I had been wanting to take this class for a long time, and I am so glad I did it! I highly recommend this experience and Sue Latta as an instructor and inspiration.
