Reading these reviews I realized I’m not the only one. I had two good interactions with sheriffs department, first was after the fsu shooting getting witness statements from me and my son; second was following up with fdle who put me in touch with the sheriffs office dispatcher to have a deputy call so I could file a formal criminal report related to the shooting. They each get a star ** but the last deputy - wow. Claimed that being chased by fsu shooter with a gun wasn’t a crime. Under the law it’s aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, but this guy claimed there was no criminal intent. I reminded him the around 7 people were shot and he got angry. After him being belligerent for about ten straight minutes he refused to write the police report and demanded I hang up the phone. We asked for victim advocacy and he treated it like a joke. So, basically there’s two kinds of people who work for the sheriff’s department: the best of the best and the worst of the worst.

I’m not sure if I’m writing about the correct department in Tallahassee, however today after 3:00 pm we served 3+ women that wore “Sheriff” uniforms. For being a public service, their attitudes at a Starbucks location was atrocious. Yes we were backed up and the wait times weren’t ideal, but there was no reason for these women to mumble, give us attitude for the wait times, and one of these interactions left without paying. I’m a little appalled that these attitudes represent the people who are here to protect us. I am a young girl who worked a double and is a little tired. One of these interactions that left a sour taste in my mouth was this lady who ordered a Frappuccino. I was the only person on the floor for a few minutes. I set the Frappuccino down and had to attend a customer inside who was waiting for 10+ minutes. I gave her my explanation and apologized but she continued to give attitude and tried to escalate the situation. I apologized, closed the window, and tried to give her the change. I also told her I was going to be right back and get a straw and to my amazement she sped off. Not cool and disappointed is an understatement.
