It's an average college, but the institution survives solely on the strength of that "Government Engineering College" tag. The Technical Assistant,the Group D stuffs are here hold high values rather than a professor cause anyone in this college (Administration)are not serious for developing the college they are for how their pocket should be filled. And I'm also a current student of this college, but sometimes I'm ashamed to say this that I'm studying here . There was no facility what a Government Engineering College should have the play ground is in terrible condition and even the professor are this level corrupted that the maintenance fees of college is go directly in Hostel super pocket and registrar. Every hostel room is in terrible condition like There was no Fan in my room since 6 months and the registrar sid to me "what happened why do you need the fan , it's winter (even though it's in the middle of the summer)" . And also if you in medical emergency or anything the college authority will not take any responsibility and the super of boy's hostel (Tanmoy Mahapatra) he don't even pick calls if you are in emergency. And there's no auditorium in a Government Engineering College It feels bad just thinking about it.I know how it feels when you say bad things about your own college but it's true and I experienced it. And the lecture of all professor are sky touching but in reality they are not going to help you in any academic activities. Like the placement, there is a placement cell in our college however, that is limited solely to WhatsApp groups.The professor are not interested in students placement they are interested in how their pocket should filled as much as they can.
